Privacy policy
1.Who is responsible
ZK Darkpool operates this site and the room process behind it and is the controller of the little personal data described here. Reach us through the X account linked in the footer (X); data requests are answered there.
2.What we process
- Your wallet address, when you sign a transaction to the DarkRoom contract. It is recorded on a public blockchain by the network, not by us.
- Your sealed orders. Before the close nobody can read them. After the close the room process reads every order of the batch to match it; an unmatched order is never published or stored by us beyond the time needed to settle the batch. Matched orders are published onchain as trade prints.
- Technical logs of our web host (IP address, user agent, time), kept by the host for a short period for security and abuse prevention.
3.What we do not process
No account, no name, no email, no analytics, no advertising cookies, no profile. Your sealed order files stay in your browser's local storage and in the files you download; they never reach our servers.
4.Legal basis
Processing the orders you seal is necessary to perform the service you ask for (article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Host logs rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (article 6(1)(f)).
5.Public blockchain data
Addresses, deposits, withdrawals, sealed ciphertexts, commitments and matched prints are written to Robinhood Chain, a public network. Nobody can modify or erase them, us included. The rights to erasure and rectification cannot apply to that data; think about it before you transact.
6.Processors and transfers
The site is served by a web host and uses a key-value store for the room's heartbeat (it holds batch counts, never orders or addresses). Both may process data outside the EU under standard contractual clauses. Your browser also contacts the drand relays to fetch public randomness and the chain's RPC endpoint to read and send transactions.
7.Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing, within the limits above. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL). See also the cookies policy.
